Tornado attacked Australia like `a war zone`

Ayr: Towns were cut off and without power in northern Australia on Wednesday in the wake of being beat by an intense typhoon that washed battered yachts shorewards and ripped rooftops off houses in scenes contrasted with "a battle area".
